I was there on Saturday and placed an order on Friday November 28th for 15 dhal puri to be picked up on Saturday morning at 8am. My son in law got there and still had to wait another 30mins. Once we got home, they gave us 1/2 of the wrong order. I called and they said to bring back the roti - my question is I brought this food to my house, are you going to re-sell the rotis that were opened by a customer already? That is not hygienic at all. It makes me wonder how many return foods are being re-sold. I will never come back to another Kish franchise.
Really disappointed. These were the worst doubles I’ve had far from authentic. The flavours were totally off, and it’s clear the staff don’t have experience with real Trini cuisine.
BEWARE: YOU ARE PLAYING WITH YOUR HEALTH WHEN YOU BUY FOOD FROM HERE. READ ALL REVIEWS. I really shouldve listened to my instinct and not taken a bite of the doubles from the moment I saw it. Furthermore I wish I had read ALL reviews of this place before I ate. Just like everyone else, only few hours of eating one doubles neaseous heavy cold sweat feeling like your being drained out. Always feeling like to get to the toilet to empty out. The doubles is not even that great. Must be employees getting paid to leave good reviews for doubles. Scroll down on the reviews you'll see multiple people with food poisoning and nasea and diareea. Stay the hell away from this place and don't be a next victim. Food poisoning is not pleasant.
This spot was our usual go-to whenever we are in the area (when it was Lena's and even after the change). We loved it. Until we made an order early last week. 20 doubles... and every single person who ate them got food poisoning. It was a horrible experience for all. Sadly, that one experience made the decision for us, we will never return :'(
We just paid $54 for 11 doubles and in all of them they had 1 piece of meat in them. I used to come here with my family often looks like by them recent reviews this place has slipped BIGTIME
We ordered delivery from there last night (thinking it was still Lena's). Big disappointment. Our order had included a vegetarian delicacy called curried chataigne. Instead, there was some weird-looking and smelling dish that I subsequently found out was curried goat trip. Needless to say, none of us ate it. Even though that item was refunded, the whole reason we had placed an order there was for the chataigne. It also left us with not enough curries for the amount of roti we had ordered. Speaking of the other curries, one of the other containers was at least half sauce. While I like a good curry sauce as much as the next person, I'm not sure I want to pay $18 for a container of it. The roti was mediocre. I would have thought that a better response, instead of merely refunding our money for the wrong item, would have been to hustle a complimentary container of curried chataigne over to us. Disappointing experience.
Awesome place for a quick curry while on lunch! The spice level is always proper and the serving size is massive for the price on offer. Definitely a place to re-visit when hunger calls for it. Edit: even though it’s now called Kish’s the same great taste is still here!!
