the food was mid today , the lady serving in this the evening (friday ) was not it, so rude. she gave a 3 pieces of chicken yet I asked for 2. she made my food dry asl barely no gravy, had to eat dry food.
I just had a lunch special of mixed bbq and jerk chicken, rice and peas, coleslaw and added plantain for a bit extra. It tasted so good that I had to take the time to post about it. The chicken and rice were well seasoned, the coleslaw was fresh , plantain was perfect. I’ll definitely be going back to this place for lunch or dinner.
I love this place, they are my go-to when I am on campus. Their lunch special is unbeatable and the serving size is big. The service is also amazing, staff are always really kind. The food tastes great, better than any of the jerk places that are here in Newmarket/aurora for a fraction of the price!
One of my favorite lunch spots on Keele Campus. The staff is great. My go-to dish, jerk chicken, is delicious, and the quality/price ratio is fair. I wish their salads had more ingredients.
The jerk sandwich was nice (a bit spicy), big, and full of shredded meat (with 1 tiny bone). But too salty at times. I tried peanut punch for the first time and it tasted like a peanut butter milkshake. Edit: This time, the person making the sandwich was taking pieces off of a drumstick but still managed to give me bones and cartilage. I had 5. But the chicken wasn't salty. It was spicy though.
My last review had pretty much no issues. Great food, great prices. Huge step up from last time I wrote. I really appreciate a halal option on campus with great food. Keep up the good work. I heard there's a store opening up?!
Just ate their bbq chicken and it was absolutely delicious. If you enjoy REAL chicken (not just breast) you have to try it. They give you the best portions of dark and white meat and it's amazing. Portions are actually large and it will definitely fill you up. Staff was very friendly too. You have to try their food when you're on campus.
