We have been coming to Scotty Bons at the Keele location for about a year and every time we come in we are happy with the speed, service, considerations, and friendly attitude of the staff. In fact we were so happy with them that we decided to cater our event with all of our favourites! The staff, from beginning to end were attentive, helpful, and proactive. We actually couldn't be happier with the end result and strongly recommend trying the great food! You won't be disappointed here :) Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our event unforgettable!
Went in Monday lunch time, assisted by Smith, was very helpful and friendly, answered my question on what to get and recommended foods which is best seller at the store.
Ordered an oxtail bowl through Uber eats. Presentation was nice, but the oxtail was too sweet and undercooked. Most of the pieces were the narrow end pieces which were pure cartilage. It looks like you save the good pieces for in store customers, and delivery orders get the pieces that are left over. First and last time ordering, this was pure disappointment.
I visited this location yesterday, and a staff member named Aman served me. She provided excellent service, and her behaviour was very polite and professional.
2737 Keele St Unit 28 North York A week ago, I went to Scotty Bons and was delighted to try their menu. I got 2 orders rice and peas with one of them being jerk chicken and the other Oxtail with extra sauce on both with various sides. I got one for my mother and the other for myself and they looked wonder but tasted awful. The rice and peas had no flavour on their own and the jerk chicken had extra jerk sauce on but still had no taste. The oxtail one had good pieces but again there was no flavour in that on as well. A lot of oxtail gravy was put on it and it still was not good. It was about 5pm when I got them so I can’t say it was the bottom of the barrel. I spent $40 in total to find out that nothing tasted good and only the presentation was wonderful which lead this experience at scotty bons to be more “More sizzle than Steak”.
We had a large order delivered today, all food came on time and was amazing as always. In particular love the bbq chicken, coleslaw and scotty rice. Big ups to our boy William for making sure we were taken care of.
As a caribbean its very disrespectful trying other foods that have roti options and when u taste it, it taste absolulately nothing like a roti. It was very dry and hard. The curry itself was missing flavour and the chicken was a undercooked.
