Hi, To all that is even remotely thinking of donating anything to this organization that claims to help the less fortunate, I reached out to Habitat Restore to donate 550 Brand New in the original boxes, Granite 12" X 12" Granite from Italy, I waited 5 Days for a response as to whether my donation was worthy of acceptance from Habitat for Humanity, I received a reply email this morning not accepting my donation. No reason for declining my donation. Is this how your organization Habitat with no humanity treat people who want to help? Furthermore I would have to pay $155.00 for their truck to pick up thses brand new Granite Tiles. Shame on you Habitat for Humanity Your organization does not live up to your name. F.S.
Visited this new store earlier this week and was very impressed. The selection was great with lots to choose from. The staff are very welcoming. The (blonde) gentleman is exceptional in his approach to customers. He made my experience here worth 100 times better. A true asset to this organization. I will definitely be back to see what other bargains I can find, as everyday apparently new items arrive.
I was looking into buying a new couch for months. I was headed to the perfume store on Orfus when I bumped into Restore. I decided to check it. I really like the concept. You can get slightly used furniture at a great price. They was so much to see just for one's household or business at reasonable price. I was checking out of couch that a fell in love with the cashier came over to assist. He was warm and very pleasant. He told me everything he knew about the couch. Eventhough I didn't end up getting the couch due to man power issues, I will definitely visit again.
Yesterday, I visited to pick up two chairs. I was greeted by a man [I’m not sure of his name] who is warm, welcoming, funny and friendly. He was professional and extremely polite. The store is spacious, nice, and clean but my interaction with him is what made the entire experience memorable for me. His customer service skills are 100/10. Honestly speaking if I ever won the lottery I would open a business and put him in a top tier position, he really is that great! [H Restore, I hope you treat him well as a worker.] Oh and my chairs were exactly as described. Mint condition. So i appreciate the transparency on the websites listing.
New store!! New Location!! Very bright and spacious space with excellent finds every day!! The absolute perfect place to come to find a unique piece all while supporting a worthy cause of Habitat For Humanity!!
I came to this location today to donate a genuine leather couch in good condition, with only minor wear. Instead of being treated with any basic courtesy, I was met by Eden, who was shockingly rude, unprofessional, and downright unpleasant. She abruptly told us they weren’t accepting donations, then walked away without any explanation or even a polite word. I have never encountered someone so dismissive and cold at a charitable organization. The way Eden treated us was horrible and completely uncalled for and incredibly disrespectful. My partner and I left feeling shocked and unwelcome, and because of this experience, we will never be returning or supporting this cause again.
I loved this place! I have visited many Restore locations before and many are good, however here at North York they seem to be priced right and have a good selection. I bought a kitchen and the person that was there stayed well after closing time to help me load it. I would mention his name but unfortunately I forget, (hopefully he responds to this). Customer service was just really good and I recommend this location to anyone!
