A thrift store gem! Good prices and selection of merchandise. Though it’s mostly clothing, I’ve found a few household items too. It also has changing rooms! A rarity post pandemic, and much appreciated.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was really impressed with how organized National Thrift is. The store is very neat, making it easy to browse through without feeling overwhelmed. Everything is well-arranged, and the items are labeled clearly, which makes shopping so much more convenient. Whether you’re looking for clothing, shoes, or household items, it’s simple to find what you need. The attention to detail in keeping things tidy and properly categorised definitely makes the shopping experience enjoyable.
Im not the kind of person to leave a bad review because I don’t really care most of the times but this time I was very upset. I went today to go thrifting bc I enjoy doing this and going to national thrift I usually find neat items. When I was cashing out, it took about 5-10 mins for someone to realize I was at cash. I didn’t really mind but that’s just to start off what’s next. The cashier was sweet, but when she was cashing me out, she charged me extra $13 from what seemed to be from a previous transaction that she didn’t notice was on the register. So when I realized I was charged that much extra, I let her know and I was expecting a refund because I was charged extra for something I did not buy, but instead she had told me to go look for something or she’d give me store credit because they “can’t give out money” or do the refund. That really upset me, I came to this location and I made sure I was spending within my own budget, but because of her mistake I went over, and I was charged extra, and given a gift card to shop for next time that I don’t even want to use anymore I just wanted my money back. I understand mistakes happen but what if I needed that extra $13? What if I was really low on money and could’ve used that anywhere else? I think some extra training should be done.
I called because I live really far and I like this location to ask what the daily special was. They said they are not allowed to do that anymore. They want to drive almost one hour to find out myself what the special is instead of letting me. Ridiculous. Not going again
Very organized and like new items makes a relaxed shopping atmosphere in the West end. Even change rooms which don’t seem to exist in thrift stores anymore. Decent finds on clothes. Tiny section of household goods. Daily 1/2 price specials, Senior discount and reward program. Regret not shopping here years b4. My therapy place!
My experoence there is bad. The manager at the national thrift store on keele street is mean, rude, very impolite, disrespectful and very very unproffessional..She dosnt care if the customer leaves the store unhappy...She is needs training , better orientation on how to deal with customers. Or be changed as soon as possible otherwe that branch will loose more i customers due to her bad character...
