Came here to sell what a complete waste of my whole time. These girls are so young to even know anything about brands and didn’t even speak English to know anything about being responsible for the buying counter. Not sure how that came about management needs to fix that. I came with three big bags and they took nothing nothing at all. I don’t even think they went through my stuff so now they completely lost me as a seller but also as a buyer, I will never come to this location to waste my time ever again

Terrible experience. I dropped off four full bags of clothing, and barely 20 minutes later they claimed they were “done.” The clothes looked untouched, making it obvious they didn’t bother to properly check anything. Staff were dismissive and offered zero explanation. The whole process felt rushed, careless, and unprofessional. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this location.

As if the Stockyard location was bad… I brought new items from Oh Polly, Aritzia, etc. I called before to ask about what to bring. I get there and the workers all look like they ate something sour, one girl just stands on her phone as the other girls actually work. All they did was make a mess of my bag and told me they have “too much of what I brought already on the floor.” Thank you for finalizing my decision to never come here again.

The reviews are right honestly, this location's staff are super uncaring. When I walked in, they were already making faces at the bags I brought. Then they only accepted a few boxes which was fine and I agreed to it, and took the rest of my bags with me. got the message that they were ready for pickup around 20 min after I dropped it which surprised me because it was 3 big bags full of clothes. then when I came in, out of 50+ pieces of clothing, they only accepted ONE item. I was shocked, and the employee explained that it was because other items were not needed. how can that be true of 50+ items? I would get it if even half of it wasn't excepted, but everything except for one pair of pants. shocking honestly. it looked like some bags weren't even opened after I got my stuff back. don't even bother coming to this location at all.

They can just tell customers they don’t want to do their job instead of making faces when they come to sell their clothes. Went there with 5 bags, they told they can only take 3 because they’re busy and then after 20 min they had went through all of the three bags I gave them and they said they’re only going to take one piece of clothing and I should come back in summer because they don’t need anything else for the store.

The staff was super rude and the clothes are pretty bad. I reccomend checking out other stores in the orfus area or thrift stores. They had workers on their phone while I waited like an hour for my stuff to be ready. Really really bad service

I stopped by Plato’s Closet in North York and had a pretty good experience. The store was clean, well-organized, and smelled really nice—which definitely made browsing more pleasant. I brought in some clothes to sell, and the process was quick and efficient. Liz was the one who processed my items, and she was super kind, professional, and easy to talk to. She explained everything clearly and made the whole experience smooth. Big shoutout to her for the great service! They didn’t take everything I brought in, but I was able to sell a few pieces and got cash right away. The whole thing didn’t take long at all, which I appreciated. The store has a solid selection of trendy, gently used clothes. Prices aren’t thrift-store cheap, but they’re still reasonable—especially for popular brands. Overall, I’d come back again, whether to shop or sell. The service was fast, the store vibe was nice, and Liz really made the experience feel welcoming.?
