This normally is a store where I've found great deals, sometimes like-new clothes, and quality fabrics. This time, I went through the bins for an hour or so, tried a few things, but didn't find anything that called to me, so left. I woke up the next day with sudden bed bug bites which we have never had at home. I believe this was simply from handling the clothes, especially as I didn't make a purchase this time. This is very unfortunate, as I would assume the store has certain protocols for items before being put on the floor. This clinches the fact that I will not patronize for at least some months in hopes that things are literally cleaned up. I would NOT like to go through this experience again.

Real nice spot I like it a lot. Good customer service. Really happy with the helpful employees. Especially the women, very nice to be a woman shopping and feel comfortable!

Absolute hidden gem for purses and bags. I have found many luxury designer brands when going on their new days (tuesday and friday) more so friday but tuesdays also have a fair share of good stuff. Getting there early in line outside is ideal to get in fastest and grab the new stuff. Downside is 1 asian guy who pretends to be friendly then attacks and throws bags in your face if you are also trying to get some good bags as he wants them all to himself, but never let it deter me just report it to the manager so he can hopefully be suspended.

Bait and switch situation where the pricing changed from by the lb to per item. Unfortunately, I'm no longer interested in shopping here. I was very surprised to pick up a number of pieces of clothing for roughly three dollars each. The new clothes come Wednesday. These prices are reasonable. I wasn't made aware of a points reward program.

The store is amazing!! The cashier there (sorry don't know her name but who was working on Jan 26th , 5pm ) was really cordial and kind, the clothes are of good quality and well-organized. Overall lofee

First time learning about the store despite being open for a year. Second in-depth visit. I was very drawn to the idea of paying clothing by weight instead of per item. Very spacious basement area. The bins are around 1 1/2 feet deep. Lots of clothes to dig around in. Separated to men's, women's, and kids. Skirts are the only thing that there is no dedicated bin for. They are on a rack in the back next to some dresses (Many dress bins though). Found many name-brand stuff from places like Zara, AE, Gap, Old Navy, and Banana Republic. Even saw some Shien. In terms of quality, good overall. I know the store underwent new management in August 2023 so that might be why. They got Spotify playing in the store, but they do play explicit songs if you are sensitive to that. Scales are available in the store to measure the weight of clothing. Currently, it is $4.99 per pound (used to be $6.99). Apparently, they offer discounts to York U students and have a student/senior discount day (Wednesdays). In terms of negatives, no changing rooms at all. Apparently, you can ask an employee for measuring tape. Other parts of the store looks a little disorganized. They also sell children's toys and other various items as well (think home decor), but I have no real interest in any of them. Think they could do away with them entirely. They also got a small jewelry section near the cash register, but it is in a broken drawer. Overall, not bad. I think the concept is super cool and the clothing selection looks good. Hopefully they invest in making the store more functional and nicer. I hope this store sticks around in the future.

They don't restock that often and the boxes are too low, that spending 45+ mins digging through the clothes will hurt your back. I'll see the same items 2 weeks later.

Hey there. Sorry to hear that. We are undergoing major changes now, and one of the new policies coming into place will be removing all items after they have been there for 2 weeks, and bring in more fresh product in on more consistent basis. We would love to see you back again, and hopefully you'll be satisfied with our shmata experience
