I was recently referred to Orlex by my regular guy. You see, the AC in my car broke a few weeks ago and my partner and I thought that we could get away with holding off until next year to get it fixed, due to the high cost of the repair. Unfortunately, Toronto weather had other plans for us and in the middle of a second heat wave, we changed our tune. Unfortunately, my regular shop could not take us for another few weeks, so the owner kindly introduced me to Orlex as they used to work together. From the moment I gave Orlex a call, he was extremely kind, honest, professional, and accommodating. Instead of waiting weeks to get my AC fixed, he had an opening within 36 hours and I did not hesitate to make the 40-minute trek out to his auto body shop. (Honestly, if it was closer, I'd have a hard time finding a reason not to switch shops, ha ha...) Throughout the process, Orlex was extremely communicative, even sharing videos of the job in various stages so that I could better understand the scope of the job. In the end, he was able to find us a major part at a much lower price than originally quoted and so our bill came out to a fraction of what we were anticipating. When dealing with something as important as your car, and spending as much money as we do to maintain these luxuries, I think it's so important to feel comfortable with who you hire to take care of things. It's not like I am an expert on these things so the relationship has to be built on trust. Mechanics work really hard and I am so grateful to Orlex for doing an A+ job fixing our air conditioning at such short notice, for a reasonable price. Took my car in for brakes and tires, and the owner gave me the best price and great service. It is my first time and I definitely will be returning for more work of needed on my car, honest and explains it In detail of what needs to be done, even showed me old parts and how they went bad.
