Love this place! Whenever I’m back in Toronto this is my go-to spot for cannabis. This evening was my first time being served by Ongi (at least I think that was her name, im so bad with names, lovely gal working at 5pm this evening, dec 3) and she totally reaffirmed why this is my go-to spot - she was super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and had me in and out in less then 3 minutes with everything I needed! Great service, great vibes! Thank you so much!
There is a seller that he’s an black guy. It happens to me more than three times when I arrive there, he gave my turn to the guys that comes after me and when I’m telling him why you do that he doesn’t care and acting so rude to be honest because of that guy I will never go to this shop for shopping
The staff could use some training - they crack under pressure when there’s more than 5 customers. If you’re in a rush don’t go to this location or go there with 10-15mins buffer time .
Been going to this store over a year all the staff ok but for some reason went into the store last night there was a rope at the door and no one there as usual.So as usual i walked past the roap with id in hand.The black guy tells me i need to go back and wait for someone which takes 5-10 min always.I left walked down the street and went to Purple Mouse dispensary.Great customer service Over there.Never go into this store way too much attitude and 0 customer service.0 Stars is what this store deseves.
I shop at the bayview and eglinton store all the time. It’s great and the employees are amazing. The sheppard location is the worst weed store in the city and has no business being open at this point. Every time I go the service is terrible. The staff do not know the product they carry and seen resistant or even pissed off to help customers. I went to the store at 11AM on December 29 having checked that the store was open online. When I arrived it was closed, lights were off and there was no notice from the staff at all. This seems to be a regular occurrence as it has happened to me once before as well as my wife on a separate occasion. Really embarrassing way to run a business. When you look at the comments by the owners on these reviews concerning allegations agains fired employees, store teams going rogue and shutting the store down as well as others, it is clear that there is a problem with the culture at the company. It should also be noted that throwing employees under the bus and DIRECTLY naming employees with allegations against them is piss poor management and bordering on a labour issue. The culture of a business starts at the top and it’s clear the people at the top of this business do not know what they are doing Went down the street to the purple moose and gave them my money. Customer service was great there. I will never go back
The customer service of this location had gone from decent to bad. A few weeks ago on a Saturday night I arrived to the location at approximately 7:15pm and there was a sign saying closed for a break and they would return at 7:45pm. At some point during that time the employees came out crossed out the time of return and put 7:55. The last few visit there there's been a line up of people down the middle isle of the store, waiting their turn. And then comes someone from the back of the line and the employees start serving them over the people that are waiting. When the employees get called out for their poor attention to detail and why they’re doing that they give attitude back or saying I’m not paying attention to that. Today when there was a line up 10-15 people, there was one employee attending to them all. Once again someone came in and got served before everyone else and when the employee was notified he just came in and the employee disregarded the customers that were in line telling the truth and helped them. Customer were saying there’s an employee Francis in the back doing nothing. So I called the store and Francis said he cannot come to the front and support his coworker because he needed to open the boxes and that I am wasting his time and all that he could do is come check everyone’s ID and that’s it. I’m sorry but since when is serving customers a waste of time. They prioritize receiving and inventory but if you go into the store 2-3 days after inventory the shelves and tables will still be empty and bare. Worst part is he came out checked everyone’s ID and went to the back. It seems like this is his usual routine. Clearly the Canna cabana mission statement to offer the best deals in town, with absolutely unbeatable prices on cannabis and smoking accessories is more important than keeping the returning customers happy and satisfied.
The man in the Chicago bulls hat and the roots sweater was extremely rude and arrogant and doesn’t know what he’s talking about and made my girlfriend and I uncomfortable and gave incorrect information on the products. Will be following up with management and will not be returning . Do not recommend. To emphasize the severity of this it is my first 1 star review I’ve ever given.
