My experience at this tailoring shop was completely unacceptable!!! From the beginning, an older woman asked me to put the pants on and go into the fitting room so she could see them. The fitting room was dirty and messy, nowhere near the standard of a professional tailoring shop. I then made my request VERY clear: Only adjust the waistband slightly DO NOT touch the seat, hips, or any other part of the fabric She said “ok” and assured me she would not make the pants smaller, which made me think I could trust her. However, things quickly became extremely uncomfortable and offensive. She asked where the pants were from, and when I said Vietnam, she started claiming that pants from Vietnam are different from pants in Canada and harder to alter, as if I didn’t know what I was talking about. This argument is completely illogical and clearly disrespectful. I wear pants from Vietnam not because they are “below Canadian standards”, but because pants in Canada are far too long for my height, making them unwearable for me. Altering the waistband has nothing to do with the country of origin. What makes this even more ironic and offensive is that she made these demeaning comments about Vietnamese products while speaking Vietnamese herself. I found this attitude both disturbing and unacceptable. To make matters worse, she quoted $25 just to adjust the waistband, with no clear pricing given upfront. I’ve had the same alteration done elsewhere for $10. This lack of transparency made me leave immediately. Later, I sent a friend to retrieve my pants and cancel the alteration. My friend spoke politely and respectfully, yet was met with the response: “If you think it’s too expensive, then don’t do it.” The final straw was when she threw the pants at me and walked away. This was not just poor service — it was blatant disrespect and contempt toward a customer. I will never return. A business that disrespects customers and looks down on Vietnamese products does not deserve support.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Brought over my jeans to take in the waist and they did a terrible job. Removed the denim patch in the back and tried to replace it with something completely different. Paid for a service to nearly get pants stolen/damaged. Luckily I have taken pictures of jeans before. First picture was the pair before alterations, second is what I was returned with, and the final picture was the restitch! Tried to steal my denim patch. Lost for words.
First time here, dropped my wool coat off on Sunday for dry cleaning and it was ready for pick up on Tuesday. The service was quick, affordable and they did an amazing job! I will be back.
Was last minute on a Friday night I called every dry cleaners in the area and near Vaughan , everyone’s machines shut off for the weekends. I needed a shirt and pants done asap as I completely forgot about a function I had Saturday evening … found this place, close to home so drive to them as they close late, the guy asked me how can he help I told him my situation he said that’s not a problem and he will have my stuff cleaned and pressed by mid next day… showed up all done , paid and went home ! Super happy, great service , great price !
Took in 3 pairs of pants for hemming and taking in. Was told they would be ready by 12 the next day. I went in after 1:00 the next day and she told me to come back in half hour. I went back 45 min later killing time at the grocery store only to be told they weren’t ready again. She said don’t worry we’re open until 10:00pm. All three pairs of pants are too short and I had pins on them all to show where I wanted them. Never ever again! Go somewhere else!
Ist time buying lottery at this establishment. Forgot my lottery tickets on the counter. About 30 minutes later when I realized what happened I called. The lady that assisted me answered the phone. I told her what happened and even offered to check the garbage. She said she threw the garbage out. Lies. I wonder if my tickets with encore won? I guess I will never know.
Not sure what type of business they are running. They sell lottery tickets, some medication, and who knows what else. Took my clothes in for dry cleaning and wasn't happy at all. Not returning here. Also not worth the money
