I brought my white sneakers (worth $400) to this shop for cleaning, and when I picked them up, the tongue of the shoes had been stained blue. What upset me the most was not just the damage, but how the female staff at the front desk handled it. She immediately denied any responsibility, claiming the shoes were already stained when I brought them in — which was completely untrue. Instead of showing any willingness to help, she focused on shifting blame, without even looking into the issue or trying to offer a solution at first. After I insisted, she said they could clean it again, but even after the second cleaning, the stain was still there. Clearly, the damage is now permanent — the shoes are ruined. A $400 pair of sneakers destroyed, and the customer service was dismissive, unhelpful, and dishonest. I would never trust this place again, and I strongly advise others to stay away — especially if you value your belongings and expect basic accountability.
AVOID! NO STARS! Believe the reviews that say terrible repairs and alterations. I had a very similar experience where she accused me of cutting the sleeves of a new blouse that needed shortening by just a couple of centimetres. They took off enough to make the sleeves 3/4 length -- completely changing the style. Refused to take responsibility and claimed that I had brought it to them already cut! A second attempt and, again, another new style of sleeve that was what she thought was needed. Then told me I was a nasty person with something wrong in the head. Refused refund even for the work they did let alone the blouse.
Had my wedding dress cleaned here (lace jacket & long train - not easy to clean) - they did a fantastic job! High quality cleaners. Very professionally done with a reasonable time frame and price. Highly recommend.
