Worst experience ever,, the owner beer himself started doing my nail extensions he was keep using his phone, watching tiktok videos rather than focusing, when i ask him to do my nails, he showed me anger and left my nails in between and send someone who was totally new on his store. Will never visit again!!!! Very rude and worst experience, nobody's focusing on work, keep using phones and no discount even if anyone has their coupons for birthday discounts, bad service!!!!!!!
I got my acrylic nails done at this salon yesterday evening, but unfortunately, I started feeling severe pain in all my nails later that night. Really disappointed with the experience.
I went here on my birthday. Fairly new nail spa and lounge. When I came the store was empty which I loved so I did not have toneait for service. The nail colour options were great. I got a manicure and pedicure. The whole service took 1.5 hrs which was good. They have wifi which was great so I was able to watch a show. The washroom was clean as well as the salon itself. I definitely will be coming back here.
I was told that my nails look weak when they’re the ones who literally do my nails lol. If they look that way, it’s because you do a terrible job upkeeping its health. Also, they always use such an aggressive speed when buffing my natural nails… Especially the girl with the nose job, who I assume is the owner’s sister.
Incredible service and friendly people. Was done by Hana who was very sweet and kind and did an incredible job on my nails. Was also treated kindly by the rest of staff as well as Siu who went above and beyond. Will most certainly be retuning again!
I've felt so traumatized from my experience of this place. TL;DR - terrible work, terrible process, and I would never give these people my money again after they only accepted payment via e-transfer and then wouldn't let me leave until some boss (not on site) confirmed it was received. SEE PICS OF WORK. Nail broke off 3 days later!!!!! LONG VERSION: Despite all the photos they have on social media it seems only one or two people can really handle even basic design. Nothing seems to be ready for their opening. Booking site was down and had to call to get confirmation for an appointment cus no one followed up as the booking site said they would. Got there and James (who is not experienced enough) did my nails. I could see from the outset that he was getting coached by the person beside him (Sandra, Sue, can't remember) but that person seems to be the one who really know how to do the designs and proper nail work. Anyway, after James butchered my cuticles and I had to push to get certain nails shaped properly because they were uneven. I was brought to do my pedicure while James was supposed to be finishing the design. It was very simple french tip line work and I wanted to add a gem or two. I was doing special nails because it was the week I was getting an award for one of my highest professional accomplishments to date. I could start to tell he didn't know what he was doing by the 4th time he wiped the nail and tried to restart. I called it out and then he admitted that it was proving a bit more difficult for him. He then asked if I could come back or do a different design. I was not interested in that as this was the only time I had and at this point I didn't want him doing any design because the one I showed was really easy so who's to say he can do anything else. He has a conversation in their native language with some of the other shop people and because now I've been there for nearly 2 plus hours and my nails still weren't done and at this point I'm just waiting 5-10 mins for him to finish talking with his colleagues (they seemed to be finding out how long another technician would be on the nails she was doing). Eventually that woman stops working on her client and then comes over and does my nail. She does and OK job but at least it was better than what James was doing. Ok fine. I'm pissed but whatever let's just finish this and let me get out of here. To their credit they all were very nice and seemed to understand my frustration they just couldn't seem to rectify it properly. Anyway, my pedicure is done (she did a good job) and my nails are done (I hate them because they're mishapen but from afar they look pretty so I'm like whatever). I go to James to pay and he says the machine is down. I look over and their ATM is also down, mind you, I asked before I came if they accept card... Then James says, you can pay by e-transfer. He tells me the full amount for the service despite it taking an unreasonable 3.5 hours to get everything done and the absolutely subpar work that was done and frustrating experience I had. It was $125 and I transferred $135 and made note for the tip to go to the pedicure girl. Now I do the transfer with James beside me, he can see me go into my TD app and do the transfer as I confirm the email and even show him the success screen with the confirmation code. I got to leave and then he stops me. Why? He says I now have to wait until he gets confirmation from the boss that the moneywas received and now I LOSE IT. I couldn't believe after everything they were going to act like I didn't pay them. I even chastised him for having the gall to charge me full price, didn't even have the decency to say "here's $20 off of the nails for your experience" or anything. Eventually they call Sue to try to explain to me why I had to wait or whatever. I tell her I don't care and she keeps trying to explain instead of oh, you know APOLOGIZING! finally the boss person confirms the transfer they open the door and let me go. All that to say, NEVER AGAIN! To be clear I did these Mon May 27 and the pics are May 30
I had my nails done and while the ombre i picked was done very well i had done them over my natural nails, the kind lady who did them for me unfortunately filed my nail with the drill so thin that they now bend when i hit something ever so lightly. This is the opposite from my oringal nails, which could handle a lot of force. Just like now, before i had my natural nails with only a bit of uv gel added to two of them to lengthen and make them equal. The amount of filing was unnecessary, especially since i had gel polish on when, prior to the move, they would remove it with alcohol. This does suck because i most likely will have to cut them to prevent it from breaking and causing me harm, and it would be my money wasted.
