I’m a repeat customer for 8 months now, and I have always had a wonderful experience here. I’ve never witnessed anyone being treated unkindly or unprofessionally, and I can speak Vietnamese, so I’ve never even heard the technicians speak rudely of any other customers while I’m there. And unlike other salons I’ve been to, my bio gel nails have NEVER broken since I started going here (unless I grow them past the 4 week mark, but that’s on me, not them). Since I’m easy going & extremely busy, I don’t mind trying out any available technician whenever I can drop in. So I’ve enjoyed the 3 different nail artists who’ve worked on my nails so far. But Gina did such a fabulous job with my Christmas nails that I saw on Instagram, that I want to go back and ask her for one of her original designs. Thank you em! Thank you Nuvo! For giving this mother of two such a nice monthly self-care treat!
I am beyond disappointed with my experience at Nuvo Nails, specifically with Gina. She has repeatedly shown zero respect for her clients’ time, and today was the final straw. Gina canceled my original appointment last minute, only one hour before I was supposed to arrive. I was understanding and rebooked, even though she claimed the only available slot was at 4:30 PM. I explained that I work until 5 PM, but because I had an event the next day, I took an unpaid hour off work just to make this appointment she insisted was my only option. I arrived exactly at 4:30, only to find her still doing an elaborate design for another client. I politely waited until 4:50 and asked how much longer it would be. She completely ignored my question and was extremely rude. When I asked again, she finally responded that I would need to wait until 5:15 PM. That’s 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment, after I had already taken unpaid time off to be there on time. This is not the first time this has happened with Gina — every visit I’ve had with her, I’ve waited 20–30 minutes past my appointment time, minimum. Today was especially upsetting because I planned ahead, lost pay from work, and still ended up being treated with complete disregard. This was handled incredibly poorly. Unprofessional, inconsiderate, and unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend booking with Gina if you value your time or expect basic respect as a client.
I did my nails about 4 days are came off the color and I came to fixed but a day later the color continued to peel off…. I have no time to come to fix it again…
Would not reccomend came for gel fill left completely disappointed and in shock. One my tech was extremely sick coughing the whole time which isn’t enjoyable to begin with I asked for square shaped short did not receive at all ended with u shaped nails and not short explained over and over again to cut them and showed picture for shape. Still not great at all should have known better then to do my eyebrow after but since I was there I thought why not. NEVER again she didn’t even remove my makeup before starting to put on wax which I made her stop she took of half my eyebrow and I explained I had micro shading and to keep within it but thinner left with no left eyebrow underneath terrible. I work on this type of industry as well and was shocked then left me sticky to leave with wax still on my eyebrows. Would not Recommended to go here was my first and last time: was excited to try and very disappointed overall.
I had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience at this nail salon. From the moment I walked in, the technician was unprofessional and rude. I explained that I wanted a French manicure and showed her a picture, which she agreed to. I also asked for a new set, but was told that removing my old nails would cost an additional $15 which is ridiculous considering most salons include that in the service. Throughout the appointment, she was short tempered and even yelled at me multiple times, making the entire experience very uncomfortable so much so that other customers looked over in shock. When the set was done, one of my nails was visibly cracked. I pointed it out, but she dismissed it completely and said “nothing’s wrong,” even though the customer next to me agreed it was clearly cracked. She kept saying she was tired and refused to fix it properly. I felt so uncomfortable that I told her to just do a simple color instead of the French style. I calmly explained that I also work in customer service, and if she’s accepting clients, she should treat them with basic respect. Instead, she started yelling at me again in front of everyone, saying I was too sensitive and my nails were fine. I ended up paying just to get out of there, but to make things worse three of my nails broke after only five days. This was a new set and should’ve lasted much longer. My nails are now damaged and in pain. I’ll never go back to this place and I do not recommend it to anyone. The service was rude, unprofessional, and the quality of the nails was terrible.

Very good place to get your nails done! High quality service and friendly staff. I recently moved to the area and since then I keep coming here for mani and pedi! 100% recommended
