- Horrible Nail Experience - I had one of the worst nail experiences I’ve ever had at this salon. I called ahead to book an appointment and clearly explained what I wanted. The person on the phone quoted me $39.00 for a manicure with shellac plus the design. However, when I arrived and showed the nail tech the design, she suddenly told me the price would be $60.00 instead. I asked her why the price went up, and she said the design was “complicated.” I came prepared with both a picture and a video of the exact nail design I wanted, yet the tech still chose a completely different colour. I even asked if she could do the design, and she said, “okay.” But when she tried it, she made a mistake, and the result looked nothing like what I requested. I ended up having to cover my nails with a solid colour because the design was so off. On top of that, the tech nicked my cuticle, and it started hurting as soon as I got home. It became inflamed, and within a day or two I noticed a bump and discoloration on my right middle finger. When I looked closer, there was a greenish tint, which is extremely concerning. I’m disappointed, frustrated, and honestly worried about the hygiene, transparency, and skill level at this place. I will definitely not be returning, and I would not recommend this salon to anyone.

If you’re looking for a calm and relaxing place to treat yourself for an hour, this is not the place. The staff were speaking loudly in Vietnamese the entire time — all at once, non-stop — which made it impossible to relax. It was a stressful experience, and this was definitely my last visit

I needed my bio gel to be removed. They were nice to accept me without appointment, however you shouldn’t sacrifice quality for quantity. Very crowded and I found staff are in rush. The one who removed my bio gel , removed chunk of my natural nail as well. It has been sore for two weeks and now left a big dent after my nail grew longer. Very ugly and I have to cover it with artificial nails. I paid 40 $ to hurt my hands. I don’t recommend the place

I always bring my girlfriend to Zing because she’s simply the best when it comes to nails. Every time my girl asks for a new design, Zing nails it perfectly—no pun intended! Her creativity and attention to detail are next level. We trust her 100% because she always delivers exactly what my girl wants, sometimes even better If you’re looking for top-notch nail designs, Zing is the one to go to!"

I decided to write this review to help clients understand and not be gaslit and manipulated. This is not an attack, it’s information and truth. Peter (owner/son) if you’re reading please know that the way the salon runs in your presence and absence are like night and day. After 8 years of going here on and off, I have all the tea. Positives first: you can get a last minute appointment easily. That’s it. You might believe based on the prices listed that they are affordable. This is a LIE. If you add anything to your nails on top of a simple one colour polish, they keep adding money like it’s their second business. For example, you want a line in your nail? That would be extra $5-10 for “design” or you want a tiny charm, too bad it’s another $20. My personal favourite—nail tech broke your previous extension while violently buffing? They charge you to repair it as well. So, it’s a lie to walk in and believe it’s affordable—it’s not. You’ll walk out paying a lot more than what you came in for. The biggest issue I had is they argue with you if you’re not happy with the results instead of fixing anything. The manager woman is awful about this. She argued the result was “8/10” in her opinion when I let her know I wasn’t happy with the experience. I showed her a massive bleeding cut made by nail tech and told her how the nail tech did not even offer any sanitizer for it and she is like yeah but your nail looks “8/10”. And no, it didn’t look “8/10” either by any professional standards. That was the last time I ever went there. Before that, I returned to the salon many times over the last 8 years when I couldn’t get a last minute appointment close by or let my memory fade. I was willing to overlook their inconsistent maintenance of hygiene. I overlooked how difficult it was to even pay—who doesn’t accept card in this day and age? I didn’t care when I had the same nail tech give me wildly different outcomes on different occasions- one good and the other horrible. But enough is enough. Save your sanity and don’t go there. Pay $10-20 extra and go literally anywhere nearby.

I come here all the time for my manicure and pedicure, I always get shellac, and it lasts so well! I love that I can pop in for a quick colour change and be on my way. Every time I leave, I feel so much more confident! The team is always professional, welcoming, and kind. I was honestly sad when I had to leave my old nail salon after moving to this area, but I’m so glad I found this gem! Even if I move again, I won’t switch. They’ve got me for good!

Did a regular manicure about an hour ago, 2 of the nails got slightly nicked when drying either the small fan, so asked the girl to fix it ; first she did a touch up but with the wrong color! So she wiped it all off and did it over but without waiting for the proper wait time in between coats, so after sitting for drying at the fan for over 25 minutes and making sure I got the OK that I am good to go, both nails the polish is completely coming off and pockmarked !!
