Terrible customer service. Imagine walking 30 mins for important medicine and SEEING customers behind a locked gate inside the store. All I needed was important OTC medicine. They came to the door and said NO, were closed. The time was 5:48, they close at 6. The guy was extremely rude, older white gentleman. They clearly don't care at all about customers or helping. They just care about money (funny enough). BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU WILL BE CONTACTED. READING ALL YOUR PREVIOUS REVIEWS AS WELL ITS CLEAR TO ME THIS PHARMACY ALSO PRICE GOUGED IMPORTANT HEALTH SAFETY ITEMS DURING COVID. EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM IS NEGATIVE.
The Main Drug Mart pharmacy in my opinion is excellent. Barb at the pharmacy is so compassionate, kind and knowledgeable. She goes above and beyond to help her patients. I once submitted a request for a refill as I was in the area; and surprisingly it was ready in a few minutes...I was expected to be told to return the next day. Just amazing! The cashiers are friendly and will help you find products as you need. I like that the owner has a little desk because I think he takes his job seriously and wants to be where he operates. The always visible cleaning staff says a lot about the business, they care how the store looks and they hire someone to clean frequently. There are meducal supplies as expected but I thankfully found printer paper when I couldn't find it anywhere nearby! Highly recommend!
This is a relatively large pharmacy with two main sections. The larger area is dedicated to OTC products and other health-related goods, while the smaller section is for prescription preparation and consultations with the pharmacist. While the staff in the prescription section are not very helpful and often seem unwilling to engage, which can feel disrespectful at times, the lady in the OTC section is exceptionally kind and helpful. It's worth noting that prescription preparation can take a while, so I recommend calling ahead if you're in a hurry.
Took back an item, bug spray, top of can was broken. Had the receipt, manager refused to refund my $15. Said they don't sell it in the condition I bought it in. So I lost my money. Going to write a negative review on every platform I can find.
The manager is really not a bad person, at least I have not seen him being rude or unprofessional towards me personally. However, the services in the pharmacy part is absolutely horrible. It will take so long for them to give you your medication, there are usually people who keep asking questions and the pharmacists do not provide services to the rest of the customers. One time, I honestly had to wait for more than half an hour to get my medication, and it is a thing that happens there regularly. Sometimes they charge me extra fees and then refund it to me. Really, the people working at the pharmacy area have no clue what they are doing and are extremely slow in their services. If you respect your time, I would not recommend this place to you at all. Now, I go to a different pharmacy to get my medications, which is far away from my place, but it literally takes 1-2 minutes for them to hand me my medications and they do not make mistakes constantly.
The star is NONE!! ( March 2019 ) The manager name is Bob Michel Gunidy. I saw the manager aruged the customer, He threw the money to the customer. The customer was upset and picked it up, the customer told him that he never come back at the store. Also, Bob madly one of the staffs who working the cashier. I had notice that the manager is terrible atittude and grumpy,too. I believe the customer(s) will contact complaints against this store, "Better Business Bureau".
Terrible service. Not are they extremely slow and apparently always short handed, the pharmacy takes its sweet time to open shop. They wouldn't open up shop until the pharmacist came in and people have to wait outside up to 15 minutes before they open the store.
