I just received a fun family game I ordered for Christmas. I ordered it online, paid a little extra for shipping but I didn't mind as the price was cheaper than on Amazon Canada. It was shipped from Toronto to Vancouver Island BC and arrived in time. Very happy with the customer service I received as well. Thank you.
A great store obviously. But why are the hours 9-5? What kind of working parent can visit this store? And on the morning of weekend birthday parties, you also can’t run in to grab a gift because the shop opens so late. If you want to shop here, you have to shop well in advance. It was suggested that we can shop online if the hours don’t work, but that makes no sense because the store’s prices are higher than Amazon. The whole beauty of shopping at a retail store - other than seeing the merchandise in real life - is interacting with actual humans, and supporting the local economy. Fingers crossed for better hours at this iconic Toronto toy store.
Toytown brings the JOY back to toy shopping. Fun for kids and adults, I just love walking through and seeing every single thing they have in stock. Their board game collection is out of this world - my family are frequent fliers and will be for a lifetime!

Not a place I would do business with again. Lied about store hours saying they were operational for the long weekend when asked, but tells other customers the truth. Do not greet/acknowledge you if they deem you not to be worth acknowledging. They do not thank you for your business either or give you pleasantries if they don’t like you and there was no cause or provocation from my end as I perfectly did all the etiquette (greeted, politeness, eye contact, thanking for service). A messed up place.
