We had such a lovely experience at the cafe. The gentleman at the cafe(probably the manager) helped me select the bakery items and explained the menu personally. We tried their Flan, croissant and palmier, would be back to try their soup and sandwiches. The coffees were amazing and good quantities. My mom loved the coffee. They are also running a food bank donation program while selling hand made rolling pins. Such a noble task. Would keep coming back ♥️♥️
L’Avenue Boulangerie stands out not only for its beautiful baking but also for the genuine hospitality that makes every visit special. From the moment you walk in, the service is warm and attentive, and much of that comes from the owner, Arash. He has a remarkable way of making everyone feel truly welcome—whether it’s with a friendly greeting, a quick conversation, or a thoughtful recommendation. The quality and flavor of the food easily live up to that level of service. The pastries are exceptional—perfectly balanced, rich without being heavy. Their croissants are flaky and buttery, while the sweet pastries deliver great flavors that never feel overly sugary. The sandwiches are just as impressive. Made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and excellent bread, they’re flavorful and satisfying.
if I could give 0 stars I would. horrible customer service. horrible food. I definitely saw a rat scurrying across the floor once or twice and had to leave fast.
First time trying this bakery as I am all for supporting local businesses and my experience wasn’t the best. I walked in and I was not helped by any of the staff until I said something. I proceed to order the pistachio croissant and pain aux chocolate as they looked tasteful. The baked items were okay except for the fact that they barely had pistachio and chocolate inside. This was disappointing especially with a price point of almost $5 per item. I hope the bakery fixes this issues and gives the customers a value for what they charge.
Certainly the best café in this neighbourhood!!! We never had anything like it here…. The croissants remind me of Europe, the people are all friendly locals and the owner himself, Arash, makes the place truly special. Wishing you continued success,,,,
Greta place to enjoy a quick breakfast or not. Nice people taking your order and great selection between pastries and sandwiches. The only thing, the fridge in the middle of the room doesn’t look good to me the esthetics of a place like this.
A perfect Sunday morning spot! Friendly staff, the best Americano and Cappuccino we've had in Toronto, and fresh croissants. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the city. Plus, they generously gave us a free loaf of sourdough bread, a lovely surprise!"
