I ordered Original Uncle Tetsu's Japanese Cheesecake (Fluffy/ Jiggly Cheesecake), Honey Madeleine, and Original Cheese Tart from this Japanese Pastry place. Order arrived well secured in good sturdy packaging. All ordered meals are delicious, satisfying, indulging, and adequately portioned. Price is reasonable. It satisfied my craving, will order again, and highly recommended. Great pastry shop!
The original cheesecake is perfectly soft, bouncy and sweet! The cheesecakes are always consistent in terms of flavour and presentation. It’s a perfect dessert for any occasion✨
The salesperson refused to serve the fresh madeleine off the rack when I asked for them. For ones in the glass case did not look as fresh. She insisted that I must take ones from the glass case only. She was treating me as if I was being a ridiculous and inappropriate customer. I felt ashamed as there was a few people behind me. Based on her customer service, I regret that I didn't cancel my order. This would be my last visit to Uncle Tetsu. I would give 0 star for their customer service. I have the purchase receipt if the manager requires the PoP.
Very disappointing service of the staff working there! Totally understand that, during closing time, the best sellers might get sold out, but without even greeting, straight away saying that they just have the rusks left is not acceptable! At least apologies for them not having the classic items during a Saturday evening!
I went at the right time, no one else in the shop. I didn’t k ow what to order and the staff explained. I took the cheesecake home and it was seriously delicious. Just lightly sweet, very light. The perfect dessert! Will definitely come again
This cake is a total must have! Hands down the best cheesecake out there. If you’re not into super heavy or overly sweet cheesecakes, this one is perfect light, fluffy, and just melts in your mouth. Uncle Tetsu never disappoints, it’s cheesecake happiness in every bite!
Very disappointing experience. I was given a cake baked in the morning instead of a fresh one, and the staff seemed unwilling to provide anything newer. Not the quality I expected.
