I am really upset at the fact that my family and my self have been coming to this bakery for years now. And get treated horribly because this women is very lazy or maybe just mean . My mother went to order a cake for my 10 year old daughter so my mom asked her if they can do a certain design for the cake I asked for. And she said no they don’t do that . When funny part is that been getting cakes there with other designs and never had a problem clearly this girl has no pacience to assist customers or she simply lazy she is a tall and white. She was very unprofessional. What a Disappointment! This happened at around 12:10-12:20 pm today Sunday November 16! Also I always ask for a lady name Marlene she is amazing treats her customers lovely and with respect and what ever I’ve asked for has been done this is why I mean I’ve never had a problem she’s always taken my orders with care and patience sadly she wasn’t there today but I hope it doesn’t happen again!
Reviews are right, the weekday night staff, are not accommodating at all, first time to buy, staff is snob,as if doesn't want to offer the baked goods. Didn t even greeted customers, rude.
Was eager to try this bakery bought 2 itakian bun 1 butter tart sooooo disappointed buns hollow and butter tart little filling and thick pastry had to throw it out .won't return
For a long time I have been buying bread at this bakery but this evening I witnessed the most disgusting experince at this place, from one of the machines that process the dough on the far left the dough balls comes at the bottom of the machine into a tray, when one of the staff picked up the tray lots of the dough balls fell on the floor and I pointed out to the clerk that was processing my order and she just ignored it and the dough remained on the floor until another employee went to tell the person that was handeling the tray one thing is for sure, that tomorrow I will be contacting the city health department and will never ever purchase bread at this place, I advise anyone who wants to listen to never buy anythig at Pio bakery, it is disgusting to know the food handling its way below standards and hygienic.
Horrible service! Called to inquire about ordering tres leches cake, lady was extremely rude and impatient on the phone and hung up on me after simply telling me to order online. Tried calling back and no answer. Your loss !! There’s Plenty of other bakeries in the city, don’t waste your energy on this one.
Update April 13, they did call me back after I posted my review. I came to the conclusion that there is something wrong with the website site. The tab where it tells you how many ppl the cake will serve and the 2nd tab to show the shape do not open. So i thought i was getting a rectangular cake instead of a round one. On a good note the cake waS delicious. They need to correct that website issue. The Spanish lady there was very helpfu Original review I ordered a lemmon cake for $70 on the website but i got a round cake instead. The workers there told me to see my options on the website and thats,what i did and now she tells me that cake did not exist. Im very upset now im stuck with a cake i did not want!
Very unprofessional. This is my go-to place to purchase all my cakes. I always order and pick up. My last experience was terrible. I purchased a strawberry cheesecake as suggested by the sales women, and when I got home all my family could taste was flour. Absolutely no cheese. When I called, they asked me to take the cake back the next morning to be analyzed by the boss. What baloney is that? Customer solution skills are very poor and sucks. Be careful when purchasing from them.
