Stay away from this dealer or get car package from service Ontario before purchasing a car this guy Ben don’t trust what he says he sold me a van with registered lien on it and keep lying to me and saying he never financed the van and doesn’t want to discharge the lien even though I paid the full price of the car and provided me with faulty safety inspection certificate
I purchased a Mercedes sprinter from this dealer I asked him for carfax he checked on his computer and said no issues is showing the only thing he told me that it shows is police collection report and it’s not showing the cost of repairs so I said it could be small accidents so I purchased the the van and paid the full price for it after a week it came to my mind to go to SERVICE Ontario and get the information Package and find out there is a Registered lien on the van so I contacted the owner Ben he said don’t worry the lien is his responsibility so I said to him I can’t drive the van with lien on it I asked him to discharge the lien he kept saying I will do it this week it’s been two months and keep saying he never financed this van so know I have no choice I am going to OMVIC and also paid him 900 dollars safety inspection certificate but he provided me with the certificate with out inspection and 10s of safety issues on car stay away from this dealer he will scam you with out mercy
Written for a family member review: Purchased a new vehicle with trade in, with the trade in they were to pay off the bank loan on my existing vehicle. 3.5 months later the bank has reached out to me saying payment has not been made since my last payment before trade in. Went to Service Canada, my vehicle has been transferred to another owner with outstanding lean against it. They cannot provide me with the name of the new owner. I have contacted Bay Auto Zone numerous times and they continue to say it will be paid off in 2-3 days. Still not paid off. I would not recommend this business at all as they are clearly running some sort of scam.
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at [Bay Auto]. I purchased a vehicle from them under the impression that it was accident-free and in original condition. The dealer never disclosed any prior damage or repainting, and sold me the car at full market value as if it were clean and untouched. After few issue appeared right the way and few months after purchasing I discover — through inspection — that the car had been in an accident and repainted, on the left side something any honest dealership would be upfront about. This was not a small oversight — this is deceptive business practice. They misrepresented the condition of the vehicle, and I feel completely misled. Trust is everything when buying a car, and unfortunately, this dealership has proven they can’t be trusted. I contacted them . The sales guy respond was : what the problem? My car have paint too and declined the refund the difference. Between painted vehicles and non accident vehicle . I asked them for solutions not respond what so ever . We contacted Omvic . And filed the document as well Do your research, get an independent inspection before buying, and beware of this dealer if you value transparency and honesty.
I purchased a Mercedes from this dealership in mid December 2024. After having it wrapped, I began driving it on New Year’s Eve. Unfortunately, within just a few weeks of ownership, I started experiencing multiple issues with the vehicle, including: -Car Play/Audio/Main Screen not functioning -Non-functional seat heater -Inoperative rear-view cameras -Constant dashboard sensor alerts -Recurring battery issues, requiring the purchase of a battery pack to regularly boost the car -Unusual ticking sound detected in engine compartment (I’m bringing it to the mechanic tomorrow) And so much more. When I contacted the dealership to report these problems, I was advised by Danny to take the car to a mechanic at my own expense. He stated that such issues are “completely normal” for a used vehicle within the first few months of purchase. I understand that a used vehicle may not be without imperfections, but experiencing a new issue every week doesn’t seem reasonable or typical. It’s becoming increasingly frustrating. When I purchased the vehicle, Danny was attentive and came across as trustworthy, which led me to expect a higher level of service and accountability—especially so soon after the sale. I first reached out on January 7th and didn’t receive a response until today, April 10th. At this point, it’s difficult not to feel as though the issues with the car may have been known beforehand—especially in hindsight. I was genuinely shocked to learn that Bay Auto Zone hadn’t even sent the vehicle for a safety inspection before I invested $7,000 into the wrap. It’s particularly concerning that the safety was only completed after the wrap had already been done. I truly regret purchasing from this dealership and would strongly caution others to do their due diligence before considering doing business with them.
Buying the car went smooth, however they have not held up to their end of my contract. I have tried for two weeks to get a hold of Danny to finalize the payment on the vehicle I traded in. Of course no reply to texts, call him he asks me to text him and then doesn’t respond. I’ll be making a visit to the dealership soon. Very unfortunate had the post sale service been better I would have changed my review. But hey they got my money why should they care now.
