We bought a 2011 Kia Rio that was supposed to be certified. They did not show or give us the certification record. I took the car to my mechanic and both front ball joints were dangerously worn. My mechanic would not let me out of the shop driving with it in that shape. It cost me over $300 for that repair. The engine oil was so low that it hardly registered on the dipstick. I immediately topped it up and then had to change the oil as it was incredibly dirty. I ended up costing me $400 to do what should have been done for the certification. Poor business practice!
Was told brakes would be good for 2 years, no issues during test drive. Drum brakes are rusted and started to squeel day after taking it home, turns out that one of the drum brakes e brake is constantly pulled. That's going to need replacing
