Someone was selling used winter tires on marketplace and gave me this dealers address as a pick up location. I paid $800 for the tires and picked up. My mechanic installed the tires and one of the tires had a punctured on the sidewall which is not fixible. The seller claims it’s my fault. Yes, it’s my fault to trust you people!
In December, I completed the purchase of a vehicle from Lecos Auto. While initially attracted to the specific vehicle I had in mind, my experience with the dealership proved to be less than satisfactory. Despite assurances that minor issues would be addressed prior to delivery, these matters remained unresolved on the day of pickup, resulting in an extended wait period for the promised repairs, tire change, and oil replacement. Regrettably, my dissatisfaction did not end there. Shortly after driving the vehicle home, I encountered a pronounced growling noise at highway speeds. Initially attributing it to the winter tires, which were not on the vehicle during the test drive (originally equipped with summer tires), I later discovered the true culprit – a defective wheel bearing. The vehicle had been sold to me with a known issue, necessitating an additional $450 expenditure for a new wheel bearing. While the subsequent repair has restored the car to optimal performance, this experience has underscored the importance of thorough inspection before purchasing from Lecos Auto. I strongly advise prospective buyers to enlist the services of an independent and reputable mechanic rather than relying on the dealership's in-house services. Failure to do so may result in acquiring a vehicle that falls short of roadworthy standards. It is my sincere hope that this review serves as a cautionary note for potential customers of Lecos Auto, prompting them to exercise due diligence in their future vehicle purchases. Wouldn't recommend purchasing a vehicle through Lecos Auto I was sold a 2014 Subaru Wrx and have had nothing but problems with the vehicle over the last year. First the car was sold to me in poor shape, here is the list so far from the day it drove off the lot, A/C seals, PCV System, spark plugs, clutch, muffler and Catt, transmission rebuild, center diff replacement, three wheel bearings, wipers, tires-(sold in December with sport summers that had little tread left) engine air filter and cabin air filter. Warranty covered about 5k so far my out of pocket is about $3600 Dennis the head sales representative was quick to replace the clutch, one wheel bearing and patch the muffler after my local dealership voided the safety report that Dennis had signed off on back in late December 2022. During this my local dealership declosed that the small block was replaced at 90k information that was quite easy to obtain through the vehicle's dealership had Dennis decided to obtain info on vehicle before selling it. For out the door price tag of 23k this is not what you'd expect for a "you get what you pay for" to me this is poor dealership ethics.
Leco's Auto Sales were excellent to deal with. Dennis worked fast to get my car ready on very short notice. The car itself is in excellent condition with new tires and brakes! My dad runs a detailing service and he was very impressed on the condition of the exterior/interior! Dennis gave good advice and was honest. Lecos auto was recommended by a friend. Found a nice 2012 Hundai Sonata at a reasonable price and dealt with Dennis who took the time to explain every step of the process. He answered every question patiently and even stayed after hours to help us finalize the paperwork to get us into our new car when time grew short for us to return our rental. As always when making a large purchase, do your research, get as much information as you can and stay on top of your transaction. Our experience with Lecos auto was a positive one.
