I had a wonderful experience at Decorium. I’d been looking for a sofa with a specific size to fit my den for 6 months. I went into Decorium and explained what I was looking for. I had a wonderful sales lady who helped and guided me through the process. Just had the sofa delivered today with white glove service and I couldn’t be happier Thanks for your help I will certainly recommend Decorium Arlene Bomal
We had a very disappointing experience with Decorium recently. We purchased a very expensive living room set that cost over $20K from them, hoping to enhance the ambiance of our home. However, what we received was far from satisfactory. The furniture arrived with noticeable defects that were impossible to overlook. The "Oksana" living room set that we got had many noticeable defects on the fabric. Among those defects are noticeable grooves in ALL sofa arms, staple indents in the fabric due to poor packaging and fabric tear on the seat cushion which are all indications of very poor craftsmanship. We found out later that from techs that those are all mass produced made in China furniture which huge price markups. When we contacted Decorium regarding these issues there was LOTS of back and forth and we felt they simply didn’t take accountability for their furniture. We asked if we could have an in store credit because we knew refund is not possible and the store refused and said that they stand behind the quality of their furniture. After many back and forth communication which lasted from October 2023 until February 2024 that is 5 months of back and forth, they have referred us to speak to the supplier by the name of Harvey and simply didn’t take responsibility for this defective furniture. Even though the technician that was sent to us said the above mentioned defects are unfixable and furniture needs to be replaced. We understand that some furniture can arrive defective but we never had to go through this painful process with many back and forth with any other furniture store before. We purchased other furniture for our house from Leons and the Brick and as soon as we reported any defects they took accountability for it very quickly resolved the issue for us or issued us a refund. We never had to go through all this unnecessary back and forth before to get a resolution on defective furniture. Especially that this furniture was very expensive and would expect much better quality for what we paid for. It is evident that Decorium has some issues with the suppliers of the furniture. We can tell that the staff (Fil and Maribeth) were willing to help but Decorium has terrible after sale service and has no say with the supplier of the furniture even though we paid a premium price to Decorium. In conclusion, if you're looking for high-quality furniture , I suggest exploring other options. Decorium is simply not worth the hassle and frustration we have been through especially with the huge price tag.
The worth furniture store in GTA, they accepted to return 2 damaged chairs after a disputation. It was terrible experience. Hope they do better with others.
My spouse and I ordered this couch and drove all the way to Niagara Falls to pick it up. We were told it was in excellent condition and shown pictures. When we picked it up it was wrapped so you couldn’t see anything. Upon opening it up at home it was not in excellent condition. It was ripped and has holes all over. The legs wouldn’t even go in. I tried contacting them several times now with no reply. Beware of this. It is a scam.
The only place you need to shop...they have everything in every style. Most importantly, skilled and attentive staff to make sure you find what you need. Choice can be overwhelming, and we're so happy with our new furniture thanks to guidance and wisdom from Ellen.
Just purchased a set of 6 dining chairs here today. Customer service was good, dealt with Raffaele and Phil. However, the website price for the chairs was 10% off $279 each, at $251 each. At the store, the same chair price was listed as $299 each and was provided 10% off at $269.10. I spoke to a sales person there and was told the price already went up and they forgot to update the online price. Asked if they will honor the lower online price, but unfortunately the response was a hard NO. Still purchased the 6 chairs at $269.10 each since I understand the cost of everything is going up. Just wanted to share my experience that Decorium does not honor their online advertised price. Not a big deal, just a little disappointment, so this place certainly isn't somewhere I will recommend to friends and family due to their false online advertised price. Lastly, as soon as I showed them their online lower price, they quickly updated from $279 to $299 each. Probably should have just purchased it online to see if it would have gone through. But had to go to the store to test sit on the chair.
In the midst of the pandemic we were looking for a new sofa bed. I scoured every website possible but it was difficult not being able make an informed decision. Out of the blue Howard from Decorium reached out and helped me every step of the way! I hadn't seen anything in our style on the website but Howard offered many other options. He gathered my preferences and followed up with pictures of different styles and types and colours of materials. We received our sofa bed on Saturday!!! The delivery person was thorough and very professional. The sofa bed is perfect and the quality is superior to other products. Thanks again Howard, Maribeth and Prince for making this a great experience!!!
