Aigoo Foodmart is located on Weston Road inside the Crossroads Plaza right beside LCBO. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with snacks that are on sale for the week. As you proceed you will see the produce section. They have a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. They also have a big selection on meats. When I went I noticed there was a lot of sale on their chicken section. The meat counter is a good size and reasonable pricing. They have aisle and aisle of snacks from wide range of ethnicity. I even stumbled upon a Bahn Mi sandwich counter. Not sure if this is a pop up shop or if it’s there to stay, we ended up talking to the lady at the counter. She was very pleasant and explained the menu to us. We ordered 3 sandwiches, each sandwich is $5. She only accepts cash or Etransfer. The Banh Mi was a good size and lots of filling. It was very good. Their seafood counter had lots of fresh fish to choose from, and what stood out for me is how clean it was. Overall Aigoo Food Mart is a great place to do your shopping. I was able to find all the things I needed in one place. Cashiers and staff are helpful and very friendly.
Always clean when I go and always have fresh fruits and vegetables. They do put the vegetables and fruits out in the morning so go past 9:30 and you’re good.
The only true remaining Chinese grocery store when it comes to pricing. Excellent quality and very clean store. This is my new grocery store of choice. Great quality at very affordable prices. Addendum: there is a Bahn Mi stall inside the store. Try it! Its so good!
Stock is lacking sometimes but prices are amazing! When you enter, you’d be greeted with a wall of snacks then you’d go through the fruits and veggies section then be on your way to get other groceries. The lines are usually not too long and it’s in a fantastic area! I found sleepy joe on a coke can
Prices are very good with certain things but every time I buy meat it’s bad and I have to throw it out . To ur question first of all it is the truth. I have no reason to lie and I bought chicken wings and I bought ground beef two days ago and I have no reason to lie I can afford to buy my food. Thank you.
The store looks clean. There were many different variety of products at good prices. I wanted to give 5 stars but I was served by a rude lady when buying crabs. I didn't know why she was so grumpy helping customers as I wasn't the only person she was rude to. We asked her to get us 3 crabs from the tank. Normally, the person getting the seafood from the tank would show us that the crabs were alive and ask if we want them before putting them into the bag. But this lady just shoved the crabs in the bag without saying anything and her back turned to us. She weighted them, then thew the bag our way, and grunted something we couldn't hear. The day before a man helped my sister-in-law with the crabs and she said the man was much friendlier. The crabs tasted good and were on sale so she recommended us to go shop here for them. That was why we checked out the store (on Monday, August 7). We watched as the lady was rude to the next customer. We aren't beggers. We are paying for the item. I really hope this place does well as we do need more choices in the neighborhood for groceries but I am not sure I want to be made to feel bad by the customer service we were given when I need to buy fresh seafood. For this reason, I will go out my way to go to places like T&T for fresh seafood as you can mostly get the seafood yourself and customer service is better.
The place is clean, well spaced, organized and everything. I love to go here because it has what I need, and they also sell huge selection of goods from PH :) Everything’s all good, fresh fruits and veggies, fish/clams, etc.. until I bought their item of the week - ground pork at the meat/butcher section. I bought 1kg of it for just $5.30! Awesome price right?! But when I cooked 1/4 kg of it, it had a different smell, like old meat. I cooked another 1/4 of it but washed it first this time. The smell was still there, which is why I am only putting 3 stars. I will do my groceries here for sure, without a question, on some frozen items, fruits, veggies, and other grocery items. But when I need to buy meat like pork and beef, seafood, chicken, I’ll opt to just drive a bit and go to Superstore. Staff were always friendly to me (at least based on my experience so far), and that’s a plus factor.
