First time to go there, they looked at you as if “ u don’t belong here “ yes i’m not white, yet also a customer. my mom and i did end up buying the roasted chicken. Checking out the cashier looks so seriously upset us being there. , scary and rude people.
Grabbed a fruit platter and couldn’t be happier. A large selection of products. Great Jewish market and friendly service. Keep in mind entrance is at the back.
It's always a pleasure to buy in one place all necessary kosher food it's including baking Goods including the vegetables including cooked food for Shabbat and every day they have even a sushi stand and of course the main thing all the Dairy product R חלב ישראל
Extensive selection of kosher groceries. Hard to find items? No need to run up to Sobeys Thornhill! All of the kosher products that you wish Metro, Fortinos and No Frills carried, and at reasonable prices.
Did not have the whole roasted chicken as advertised. I was told " the boss was out of town" ...then why was i told it was because the boss was out of town? And the south location had the chicken wings on sale being advertised? You realize how confusing it is to have 2 locations with the same name? Perhaps you should have all specials at both locations.
***Update Sept '23: there's been a great improvement in the helpfulness and attitude of the front/checkout staff who are happy to run back and check the price or get another of your items for you. Thank you Savours. Back to 4 stars. While the store does very well with selection, freshness, layout, cleanliness and supply of delicious prepared take-out foods (including fresh sushi,) I have lowered my rating because I never feel good in there. Why? There's usually NO-ONE around to ask if you need help locating something or as in my case, being able to reach it. On the few occasions I've been able to flag down one of the managers, "help" was less than friendly. Whatever happened to "service with a smile?" The check-out includes a designated baggers who will happily help you to the car with your items if you ask. Small parking lot right in back or by the side of the store. BTW Savours is now a bring-your-own-bag store or buy one of their reusables.
