I'm not often in the area but whenever I am I HAVE to stop in for their cheese & green chutney sandwich. Best thing ever. Really lovely service too, and great atmosphere to get some work done.
Went in midday today for a coffee and was really impressed by this cafe! I had the Ferrero Rocher Coffee which was served super hot and had a strong Ferrero flavour- it was very good, not too sweet. I also got the Samosa (which I forgot to take a photo of) but that was AMAZING. So much flavour, crunchy and served with a sweet/spicy/tangy sauce. It had a potato filling and it's a good size too. Service was fast, servers were nice.
Absolutely lovely little cafe tucked away behind the shops on Sheppard. Great coffee, they also serve up tasty little pastries and amazing sandwhiches and Indian snacks. Quite small inside with only about four tables but the atmosphere benefits from it as it feels especially intimate and quaint. Definitely recommend if you live in the area or happen to be nearby with some time to kill.
Ive been to Aashro multiple times and it’s always been an incredible experience. Just ordered one of their sandwiches for the 5th time, they are to die for. This place is so damn consistent with the taste, quantity, packaging everything. Keep it up !!!
The service from Viren and Zeel was truly commendable; they were friendly, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations. This, combined with the cozy atmosphere and tasty menu, makes Aashro Cafe a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors with excellent hospitality.
Updated Winter 2025: I docked a star because I was frozen. Got in at 8am, figured I would sit and enjoy tea before 9am work time. However, I was FROZEN frozen. Temperature was 13 degrees. When I left, it went up to 13.5 degrees. My soy-milk chai tea came hot and tasty, but it got cold so fast. Even being in my winter coat I was frozen. It was hard to enjoy the tea. Summer 2025: Super cute spot. Amazing non-dairy chai (Indian milk tea). I loved how hot it came. They have almond and oat option. There's water available. Little pastries. Matcha available too. One table outside and few tables inside.
