I visited the Yonge Elmwood Clinic on Sunday 14 Dec and despite the clinic being crowded the receptionist had a smile for everyone and managed patients efficiently. I saw Dr Sidi Liu as Doctors who attended to me from the hospital are away. I was pleasantly surprised by Dr. Liu 's depth of knowledge, focused analysis and compassion. She was efficient in checking me and then explaining the treatment and changes to my medication. In the end I even asked her if my wife could see her too as we've missed this kind of focused care that gets to the point quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend Dr Liu. Rajiv D
I visited this walk-in clinic recently. The doctors were very kind and professional, but the Asian receptionist was quite rude and unfriendly. Even though I greeted her politely and showed my health card, she seemed to treat people differently. It made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I hope the clinic improves the front desk service — every patient deserves to be treated with respect.
I have been coming here and always had a pretty good experience, the front desk lady is by far the nicest receptionist I have ever come across. However, Dr. Bazjath’s bed side manner was appaling. This is the second time I’ve seen this doctor, first time he was fine, I came back to request for requisition for MRI elsewhere and he had the audacity to lecture me that I was giving him EXTRA work to do, to redo my requistion to another hospital of my choice, and berated me for unconveniencing him, and warned me this is the last time he will help me. WOW. Isn’t that your literal job? Is this a joke, you take tax payers money and then tell me im bothering you because it takes 30 mins of your time at the end of the day to do my form (exaggeration much?) God forbid Im making the right choice for my body and health and you dont fully understand my circumstance. I would never speak to my patients with this type of tone and behaviour, and often have to finish charts and type referrals at home well into midnight. I hope others are not subjected to this type of mistreatment and disrespect. File a complaint to CPSO if you do.
My experience on and after September 19, 2025, demonstrated a serious lack of administrative care and accountability. Dr. Jason Hu provided a referral to the Toronto Dermatology Centre (TDC) on that date, and the clinic was responsible for faxing it immediately. After waiting for a month (double the expected two-week processing time), I called TDC myself today (October 19th 2025) and confirmed the referral was never received due to a failed fax transmission. The clinic checked that fax transmission today and confirmed the fax never went through. The clinic's carelessness resulted in a full month's delay to receiving specialist treatment. When I called the clinic to check the status on my referral, they failed to call me back as promised (in hindsight this looks so normal based on their track record). Their only follow-up was a dismissive, casual "Sorry about that" email, showing a complete lack of regard for the severity of their mistake and the time they wasted. If you require critical follow-up care, be prepared to manage their administrative tasks yourself. Zero accountability.
Had a great experience at this walk-in clinic! I was seen by Dr. Bajzath very quickly with a very short wait time. He listened to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and didn’t rush the appointment. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful as well. Even the pharmacists were so kind and helpful with dispensing prescription medication. Really appreciated the quick and caring service!
Today I visited a medical center for the first time in Canada. My child was very sick, so I emailed to inquire about a reservation, and I was touched by the quick response. Even though my language skills were very limited, they responded kindly in every way to the point where I could forget about the language inconvenience, and the doctor kindly explained things in simple language so that I could understand them well. Thank you so much to them.
Wanna give negative stars if there were. Came in on Sunday morning for walk in . Arrived 10;48am and gave name. Asked to come back at 12:50pm. Came bk at 12:50pm still not able to see doctor at 3pm . What is the point of asking to come bk 12:50pm if the actual waiting is longer. Wasted my whole Sunday afternoon at the clinic do nothing but just sitting n waiting. The clinic is very cramped and no where to sit. The waiting time is super long and came here Cox of good reviews in Google bit felt is a waste of time totally. Avoid at all cost for walk in Sunday
